Neverest is really run by the dogs, hence the NAME!!! Here, I’ll tell you a little about the people whose job it is to make sure the dogs have all they need!! Neverest Labs is run by myself, Desirae and my husband, Mike (although he will say its my thing!! :) It is not a hobby or money making opportunity for us, it is a PASSION. I love dogs, or in general all animals. If you've ever been to our house you'd know that the moment you drove in the driveway. You are immediately surrounded by animals. And I wouldn't have it any other way! A little info on us: Mike is a Maintenance Mechanic at the Wal-Mart distribution center in Fox Lake and then also works some at a Motorcycle shop in Beaver Dam (if you know him, you'd know that cycles are his PASSION). His hard work at his job and his dedication and work at home allow me time to do what I love: work around the animals. I am a stay at home mom to three very wonderful boys, Nathan, almost 6 years old and Zach, who is 4 years old, and Caleb, who is 2 years old! If you've met them you'd know that they got mom's love for animals. Nathan will have nothing to do with being left in the house if we are doing retrieving of any kind with the dogs. In fact he needs to have his whistle and throw a couple dummies himself or the training session isn't finished. If there are puppies being born, Nathan is right there handing mom, whatever she needs. He decides what color collars the pups all get, as well. Zach is just in love with the kitties and smaller puppies. He loves something the size that he can pick up and cuddle with, so the Ragdolls are great for him. He carries them all over and lays down on the couch and just cuddles with them. He likes to do that with the smaller puppies too! Caleb’s not that involved yet, although he loves the puppies and playing with them and the way his face lights up when we bring a puppy up to his face is priceless! He really started talking when it was Abby was here in the house and now he thinks every dog is called Abby. So he gets all excited and repeats, “Abby, Abby” whenever one of the dogs comes by him. He also loves getting toys and throwing them for the “abbys” to “etch” as he says! There is nothing better than knowing you are passing your passion and love for animals on to your children!
