The pups are now 7 weeks old and are doing great. They are as big as what Amie’s pups were at this age and I’m just shocked. I think that because there is so many of them, I didn’t expect them to grow that well, but they are doing awesome. They love being outside and love the kids. I attempted the outdoor photos again today because now they try jumping off what we use for the other photos! Pretty quick they will be joining some of you in your homes! Enjot the photos! Miss Red, at 7 weeks weighs, 9lbs even. Miss Orange, at 7 weeks weighs, 10lbs 4.8 oz. Mr Yellow, at 7 weeks, weighs 12lbs 9.6 oz. Miss Lime at 7 weeks, weighs 9lbs even. Mr Green at 7 weeks, weighs 9lbs 8 oz. Miss Blue at 7 weeks, weighs 10lbs 12.8 oz. Miss Pink at 7 weeks, weighs 9lbs 9.6 oz. Mr Purple at 7 weeks, weighs 11lbs 9.6 oz. Mr White at 7 weeks, weighs 11lbs 12.8 oz. Mr No Collar at 7 weeks, weighs 10lbs 9.6 oz.
The pups are 6 weeks old and I can’t believe how much they have grown in the last week. They are running around outside for small amounts of time and are having a GREAT time at that. I tried taking outdoor photos at first today but they were all running all over and it wasn’t great! So I redid tonight (That’s why they are so late! SORRY!) So if the pups seem a bit tired, it was 11pm when we finished! Enjoy this week’s photos!! The pups are 5 weeks old and doing great. They are eating a ton and Drue loves this! Then they don’t swarm her when she comes in (well I guess that’s not true, they all still love mom! The pups are 4 weeks old now and growing faster! They love their meals of the puppy mush and Drue likes the break from them too! They are hearing better and often will jump at new sounds, so its great that they are learning that the sounds aren’t going to hurt them! Enjoy this weeks photos! The pups are just over 3 weeks below! They are doing good and just got moved to the bigger box with shavings. With 10 pups the other box just wasn’t enough space. They have also started eating some puppy mush food. Enjoy the photos! Birth Info: 1st puppy born, female, red collar at 8:40pm, weighs 13.5 oz. Below are two group photos: I won’t be taking individual photos till they are a week old. Heat, Breeding, Pregnancy Info: 12-21-09-Drue is in heat, Day 1 12-26-09-We put Drue and Doc together to get an idea of where she was. We got a breeding but I think it was still a bit early. 12-28-09-Drue and Doc had breeding number 2, but I still think its a bit early. 12-29-09-My thoughts were confirmed as Drue’s progesterone is only at 1.0 today. But she’s progressing. We’ll rerun a number on Thursday and post the info here. 12-31-09-She’s still really low at 1.5 today. So still not ready. Since Robin is past ovulation I’ll probably wait 3 days to test Drue again since she’s taking her time. 1-3-10-Well she’s getting there. She’s ovulating finally today. We also let her and Doc together again and got a breeding, #3. We’ll try another breeding on Tuesday and Thursday and then run another progesterone to make sure she’s where she should be. 1-5-10-We got breeding #4 for Drue and Doc today. We’ll try again on Thursday and run a progesterone to make sure she’s past and we don’t need any more breedings. Then we’ll just be doing the wait and see game with her too! 1-7-10-We got breeding #5 for Drue and Doc today. Neither were as interested in each other as the last time. The progesterone said she was right where we expected her to be, so we won’t be doing anymore breedings. In about 40 days we’ll be able to do a pregnancy test. She’s also measured 28 inches. 2-7-10-Pregnancy test says she’s pregnant!!! Hurray! Drue also measured 33 inches today. 2-14-10-Drue measured 37 inches today. She is quite large already! |
